The Encino Motel--under new management with "lo, low rates"!
A closer look at the rooms.
I was surprised to find furniture still in the motel rooms.  The bathroom is through the door to the right.
It was a beautiful 4th of July day as Gil, Robyn and I made our way to Roswell for the UFO Festival--Encino was an unexpected find and we had to stop and take photos for my website.

Looking down Highway 285 towards Vaughn.

Another business in Encino that has seen better times.  Encino has a population of 94--people still live there.
An old general store that carried a little bit of everything.

An old shed located behind Tom Montoya & Son's General Store.
