The historic El Moro Theater.

 

The historic El Rancho Hotel and Motel.  The property opened in 1937 originally as a base for movie productions in the area.  Fort Defiance, Streets of Laredo. and New Mexico were three of the fourteen movies headquartered here during shooting. 

 

John Wayne, Ronald Reagan, Kirk Douglas, Katherine Hepburn, Spencer Tracy and Jackie Cooper are among celebrities who have stayed at El Rancho.
