Shreveport has always posed a challenge for me in taking a decent picture--I have yet to get one.  This is a view of Downtown.

Reserve a Room in Shreveport

Shreveport has been described as being a Texas city inside the border of Louisiana.  Here, a closer look at the Downtown area of Shreveport at a slightly different angle from the previous photo.

The intersection of N. Spring Street and Texas Street.

The Shreveport Convention Center on Caddo Street, talem from South Market Street.

Caddo Lake--to the northwest of Shreveport.

Photos from 1997

These thumbnails are from the "Beauty of Louisiana" website created in the late '90s.  Only the thumbnails exist--the orignal photos have been lost.  The website can be found at the link below:

In the first photo, the Shreveport skyline (even back in 1997, I had trouble taking a good picture of Shreveport!).  The other thumbnail is of the Texas Street Bridge which crosses the Red River.  The Texas Street Bridge is famous for a spectacular neon light display after dark (not shown here, of course).
