Stanley

The only reason why I have photos of Stanley is because this was where a memorable scene from John Carpenter's 1998 Vampires was shot.  This was the gas station where Daniel Baldwin steals an old Cadillac so that he, James Woods and the vampire girl can get to where they need to go.

Make a Room Reservation in Moriarty, NM

Booking.com

The Santa Fe Mountains 60-miles distant--one of the scenes from the movie.  This is highway 41--ten miles north of Moriarty.
Old derelict buildings in Stanley.
The thriving community of Stanley.
One last view of the gas station; it doesn't look like they're open.
