 Sunset Drive-In Theater

The Sunset Drive-In movie theater at the intersection of Isleta Blvd, Goff Blvd, and Arenal Rd.  In decades past, Albuquerque used to be the kingdom of drive-in movie theaters.

These photos document the condition of the drive-in as it appeared on July 2, 2009.
The movie screen is in remarkable condition.  A few tens ouf thousands of dollars and this theater could be up and working again!

The speaker poles are still in place.

A better look at the screen.  The owner lives on the property in a trailer.

The ticket booth.  The projection and concession building is over-grown with foliage.
