Tome Hill

Tome Hill--located between Belen and Los Lunas.  The hill has a spiritual and religious significance to the people of the area.  At Easter, people make a pilgrammage to the top of the hill where three crosses are located.  Here, Tome Hill is seen from the north.

I took these pictures while on my Father's Day drive with Toby in 2009.  This is a look at Tome Hill from the south.

The trailhead to the top of Tome Hill--and it looks like a very steep trail to boot!  I may go back at a later date and make the hike to the top of the hill myself.
